Our local library has a program where kids can come and read to certified therapy dogs. These dogs are trained to go to hospitals and sit with sick patients. The program is called "Therapets of Indiana." Grace and Camille signed up to try it out. Here they are reading to "Mac" - Camille got into it and was showing the pictures to him.

Alicia has read to a dog a few times! They do it at her school for kids that struggle with reading. Some kids read better when they read to the dog than they do with other humans because they don't feel so much pressure. It's a really great idea.
That is such a cute idea. I have never heard of this before. What a fun thing to do especially if you don't have have time for a dog but like them.
What a neat program. Ainsley would be in heaven if she could do that!
Judi - Hi! It was so good to see you at Time Out for Women. Trisha sent the link to your blog to my mom, who passed it on to me. How big your children are - they are beautiful! My e-mail address is janelwillis@netzero.net if you want to keep in touch (I can send you an invite to my private blog). Hope you are having a good new year! Janel
