We try to get out on Friday mornings for a field trip. We have had a lot of rainy Fridays but finally we had a decent day to go on a hike. The colors were so pretty. Fall is my favorite time of year.

Turkey Run State Park

We had a great time hiking at a nearby state park. We felt like our family had really started growing up now that three of our four kids could walk the whole hike (without complaint). I enjoyed seeing a part of Indiana that I didn't know existed. There were moments on the hike when I felt like I was in Utah with all of the rock surrounding us. Maybe Indiana isn't so bad after all! :)
