Since moving to Indiana almost seven years ago we have been attending the annual St. Patrick's Day in Indianapolis. It has become a tradition we all look forward to. Ben usually has been able to join us but unfortunately he wasn't able to today. Temperatures were at 18 degrees when we left our house at 10 a.m. Thankfully it began to warm up and by the time we were downtown it was up to 28 degrees and very cloudy. We brought plenty of blankets and bundled up with coats, hats, mittens and scarves. We were a little chilly but overall not too bad.
Here are a few photos of us at the parade.
Menu for today
Breakfast:
Melt in your mouth muffins (colored green of course)
canned pears (from our pear trees last fall)
boiled egg
Lunch/Dinner:
Irish Stew
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!
