The girls and I have been working on some dolls for an orphanage in Haiti. A friend of a friend is organizing this service project and we decided to help out. This was all before the earthquake in Haiti and from what we here the orphanage we were sending these to no longer exists but I imagine they will be of use somewhere.
The young women in our church are also helping. The dolls will have hair and faces but that will be done by the young women. The girls and I made one of our own too as can be seen in the last picture. You can find the pattern here.
