Grace was thrilled to have her Activity Day leader from church arrive at our doorstep this morning with arms filled with balloons. Her leader has four children also and it was a very cold morning. (We don't live very close to any stores either.) It was a big deal to us that she had taken the time to do this special thing for Grace.
Grace loves horses. She dreams of having a horse farm someday. She was thrilled with this horse she received for her special day. It will have to do for now!
Slippers - more specifically "sister slippers"! We had been looking at the girl's photo albums recently and found a picture of them doing this very same thing with new slippers on Grace's fifth birthday. They were in need of some new ones and we thought it appropriate to do it again! Sisters are so special!
Ben brought Grace home some flowers. Grace loves flowers and it is nice to have something in bloom during this winter season!
